New Chief Operating Officer for Semafone

Former customer Iain Johnston joins growing UK software company 

Guildford, Surrey, 12th January 2015. Semafone, the provider of secure payment technology for call centres, has appointed Iain Johnston as Chief Operating Officer. Iain will be responsible for all aspects of product development and delivery at Semafone, including research, design and development, production, implementation and customer support.

Iain was formerly head of the PCI programme at Sky, where he was responsible for selecting and implementing DTMF capture technology from Semafone across 14,000 call centre agents to reduce compliance costs and improve security for payments taken over the phone.  He joins Semafone from Strategic Transformation, where he has been a Director for ten years.
