Semafone has won the Compliance Project of the Year category at the inaugural FSTech/Retail Systems Payments awards.
In a ceremony at the Millennium Hotel, Mayfair, London, Semafone collected the trophy in the company of other successful contestants including Barclays, Barclaycard, VeriFone and WorldPay.
The award recognises Semafone’s highly successful implementation of its secure payment technology for Sky’s global contact centre infrastructure, which serves 10.6 million customers worldwide.
Tim Critchley, CEO of Semafone commented
“This was a very large-scale project, involving Sky’s in-house and partner agents, at a time when Semafone was still a young company. We are very grateful that Sky placed its confidence in us and that we have been able to repay this by delivering a fully PCI-compliant solution that has saved time and money as well as improving customer service. This award is a wonderful recognition of that achievement. ”
