Tim is an experienced director of technology start-ups in both product and service focused sectors.
Tim has been the CEO of Semafone for over 6 years and has led the company from a UK start up to an international business that spans five continents. He has helped secure Series A and Series B rounds of funding from various investor groups including the BGF and Octopus. Under his leadership, the company has secured global partnerships and won clients that span a range of industry sectors including major brands such as Aviva Canada, BT, Rogers Communications and Sky. Prior to joining Semafone, he was COO at KnowledgePool Group, the UK’s leading provider of managed learning services where he helped complete a successful turnaround in 3 years. Tim graduated from the London School of Economics and has an MBA from Manchester Business School.
Iain is Semafone’s Chief Operating Officer; responsible for all aspects of product development and delivery.
His remit includes research and development, build & production, implementation and customer support. Previously, Iain was the head of the PCI programme at Sky. During this time, he selected and implemented DTMF masking technology from Semafone across 14,000 call centre agents. Iain has also spent time as a consultant for BT, developing their PCI value proposition. He joined Semafone from Strategic Transformation, where he was a director for ten years.
Iain has over 20 years’ experience leading international teams and executing strategic sales campaigns.
As Semafone’s Global Sales Director Iain is leading the team responsible for revenue growth and market engagement worldwide. He joined Semafone from Firstsource, where he spent six years in international leadership roles, and has extensive experience in the outsourcing and consulting industry. His knowledge of the operational side of contact centres, in North America and Australia as well as Europe, provides him with an expert and first hand understanding of the requirements of Semafone’s customers. Iain holds a degree in Science from Kingston University.
