Gary is recognized worldwide as an authority on contact center and unified communications technologies and solutions.
With a proven track record for delivering outstanding leadership and stakeholder value throughout his 30-year career, Gary has been recognized by the contact center industry with a Lifetime Achievement Award. Prior to joining Semafone, Gary was senior vice president and general manager of Engagement Solutions at Avaya, where he helped take the company public and produce over $1.2B in revenue for the contact center solutions annually. Before this, he worked for Aspect Software in multiple senior leadership roles, having served as both chief executive officer and chief technology officer as the company (formerly Aspect Communications) merged with Concerto Software. Gary is also regarded as a pioneer of contact center technologies such as automatic call distribution (ACD), computer-telephony integration (CTI), workforce optimization (WFO), and the integration of contact centers and enterprises through unified communications. Gary received his Bachelor’s of Science degree from Western Kentucky University.
Gary is a highly experienced CFO/COO in private equity and venture capital backed international tech businesses.
He has delivered three very successful exits for investors over the last 15 years. Prior to joining Semafone, Gary was CFO/COO for BIMA, a global insuretech and telemedicine business backed by Allianz X and Leapfrog where he helped deliver 3 successful development capital fund-raises to expand the company’s global footprint and product offering. He qualified as a chartered accountant with KPMG and has over 30 years of experience across a wide range of industries. Prior to becoming a CFO in his early 30’s Gary specialised in mid-market mergers and acquisitions with Ernst & Young and later in-house for Hogg Robinson plc. Gary has a first-class Bachelor of Sciences degree in Physics from the University of Manchester.
Gary works closely with the executive team and board of directors to develop growth strategies for pioneering new markets and identifying strategic partners in the Americas.
With many years of experience in the field as a successful sales and channel leader working at both Oracle and Avaya; Gary transformed the channel organizations at these industry heavyweights through the development of strategic partner programs and building cloud go to market offers. Gary’s passion is driven from his values-based approach in which he stresses the importance of being authentic, delivering exceptional customer service, developing loyalty, and following best practice methodologies.
Gary’s insight and leadership led his team to creating successful Master Agent & Technology Service Partner Programs and the subscription models that are in place at both Oracle and Avaya today.
Iain is responsible for identifying and delivering new revenue opportunities and pioneering new international markets.
As Semafone’s Chief Revenue Officer for our international business, Iain leads the sales, sales engineering and partner teams, delivering revenue growth and market engagement in EMEA and APAC. He has over 20 years’ experience in outsourcing, technology and consulting industries; leading international teams for organizations including Firstsource Solutions, SITEL and HGS. Iain holds a degree in Science from Kingston University.
Chloe is responsible for Semafone’s people strategy, ensuring we have the right people in the right roles to ensure business success.
As HR Director Chloe leads the HR team to ensure that Semafone always stays ahead of the market in talent acquisition and retention.
Previously Chloe was Head of People for one of the UK’s largest franchise networks and has specialized in building HR departments from scratch in startup and heavily regulated industries such as security and health. She has experience in high risk HR environments and has led international teams to ensure excellence with the employment journey across the globe.
Ian oversees Semafone’s project management function and ensures new products, services, and updates are delivered on time.
Ian brings over 20 years of delivering project and business solutions.
Following an early career in corporate retail (M&S/Sainsburys), Ian served as the Operation Director in a successful MBO (The Original Factory Shop). From there, he made the transition to ecommerce, which eventually led him to the software development industry. Ian’s specialty as Corporate PMO is in delivering robust cross-functional projects and processes.
Scott heads up Semafone’s global customer success team, delivering best-in-class customer experience.
Scott is responsible for driving customer goals, product utilization, business transformation, and revenue expansion by ensuring the engagement, success, retention, and growth of Semafone’s customers. He has over 20 years’ experience in strategic account management and sales for technology companies including Nortel/Avaya. Scott attended the Army Apprentices College, Royal Corps of Signal and served in the Armed Forces Global Telecommunications unit.
Connor manages Semafone’s global marketing team and is responsible for marketing strategy.
He is an established executive with experience in international Google portfolio, Fortune 100, Forbes 100, and Inc. 500 SaaS tech companies. Proven in marketing strategy, he has been a catalyst for multiple exits and one IPO. Connor now leads Semafone’s marketing team post Livingbridge acquisition enabling a new era of growth.
