In addition to his non-executive role at Semafone, he is member of the board at digital transformation specialist Izertis, and chairman of the advisory board of Prospitalia Group, a leading independent purchasing service provider for the healthcare industry. Carlos’ executive career spans over 36 years in global technology and software companies based in the UK, US, Europe, and Asia, and includes roles as executive vice president and chief revenue officer, global sales and services at Citrix, where he established a back-to-growth strategy focusing on accelerating building cloud services across the entire Citrix portfolio. Prior to this he was vice president and general manager at Hewlett Packard, chief operating officer at Orange Business Services, general manager EMEA at Avaya and vice president and general manager of Motorola EMEA. Gary is recognized worldwide as an authority on contact center and unified communications technologies and solutions.
With a proven track record for delivering outstanding leadership and stakeholder value throughout his 30-year career, Gary has been recognized by the contact center industry with a Lifetime Achievement Award. Prior to joining Semafone, Gary was senior vice president and general manager of Engagement Solutions at Avaya, where he helped take the company public and produce over $1.2B in revenue for the contact center solutions annually. Before this, he worked for Aspect Software in multiple senior leadership roles, having served as both chief executive officer and chief technology officer as the company (formerly Aspect Communications) merged with Concerto Software. Gary is also regarded as a pioneer of contact center technologies such as automatic call distribution (ACD), computer-telephony integration (CTI), workforce optimization (WFO), and the integration of contact centers and enterprises through unified communications. Gary received his Bachelor’s of Science degree from Western Kentucky University.
Gary is a highly experienced CFO/COO in private equity and venture capital backed international tech businesses.
He has delivered three very successful exits for investors over the last 15 years. Prior to joining Semafone, Gary was CFO/COO for BIMA, a global insuretech and telemedicine business backed by Allianz X and Leapfrog where he helped deliver 3 successful development capital fund-raises to expand the company’s global footprint and product offering. He qualified as a chartered accountant with KPMG and has over 30 years of experience across a wide range of industries. Prior to becoming a CFO in his early 30’s Gary specialised in mid-market mergers and acquisitions with Ernst & Young and later in-house for Hogg Robinson plc. Gary has a first-class Bachelor of Sciences degree in Physics from the University of Manchester.
Curt leads the Livingbridge US office in Boston and works across the firm’s portfolio to support accelerated growth in the US.
Curt led Livingbridge’s investment in Semafone and continues to support the company’s international growth strategy, particularly in the US. He has supported several other Livingbridge investees in both their organic and inorganic US strategic initiatives. Previously, Curt led Corporate Development / M&A efforts at a US PE-backed business.
Simon is an experienced software investor, and has led all of Livingbridge’s recent software investments.
He has experience of high velocity and enterprise SaaS GTM, and has delivered value creation through direct organic growth, channel, product expansion, and internationalisation.
Prior to Livingbridge Simon spent 4 years in strategy consulting and 6 years in industry in a variety of roles covering M&A and GTM.
Michael brings extensive US channel and leadership expertise to the board, having founded multiple companies that support the channel in different capacities.
Michael co-founded Cloud Optik and Carve Digital, two companies focused on delivering world-class data and analytics platforms to channel partners. He also co-founded SimpleSignal, a unified communications service provider that was acquired by Vonage, where he served as regional vice president of channel sales post-acquisition.
Denise is an international Executive with over 25 years’ experience in the Enterprise Software and Cloud market, spanning leadership roles in Channel, Strategy and Operations.
Denise started her career in Business Consulting, focusing on post-merger, then spent over a decade at Microsoft, seeing Microsoft’s business transforming into a Cloud business in various roles. After leaving Microsoft, Denise has worked across four PE-backed companies – heading up the Partner Business for K2, Chief Customer Officer for Sitecore and SVP of Global Business Operations at Automation Anywhere. Denise is currently the Global Head of Channel Sales at Finastra, having turned the mid-market segment into a growth lever for the company.
Denise holds a Master’s degree in Engineering and a Ph.D. from the Technical University in Zurich, Switzerland.
